ENSIGN

August 2011 'The Tradition of a Balanced, Righteous Life'

#1 We need to look after our physical selves.  Good physical and spiritual health can help us to stay on the straight and narrow way.
#2 First comes knowledge of God and his programme, then come the knowledge of secular things.
#3 A man's character is the reality of himself.  A good character is something you must make for yourself.  It is the reward that comes from living good principles and manifesting a virtuous and honourable life.
The greatest asset you can put into your bank is the reputation of being a person of trust.
#4 Personal, sincere involment in the scriptures produces faith, hope and solutions to our daily challenges.
I need to pray more.

'Reach with a Rescuing Hand'

All of us need to be reminded of the past.
We need to reach out to others and help.  Less active, YSA's and widows.
I need to find more service I can do.  Widows maybe?

'Though Hard to You.....'

A young mother who had a down syndrome child talks about her fears and how Heavenly Father helped.

'Garrett was God's child First'

Garrett has Autism.  This article talks about how it took this mother faith to see him for who he really is.

'The Lord was Always There'

German solider who was looked after during the war.
